What we collect
Engineering GPS stores the answers you provide to its guided experiences, including typed answers and voice transcripts, so it can generate the mentor response or reflection you requested. We also record limited product-use events, first-touch campaign information, and anonymous browser identifiers used to understand whether the beta experience works.
Founding Beta access
When you activate Founding Beta access, we collect your email address to identify your entitlement and preserve free access through December 31, 2026. We also record the activation time, expiry date, source Challenge session, and the opaque share or referral identifiers available for that share action.
What sharing includes
Challenge sharing uses generic text and the public Challenge link. Your typed answers, voice transcripts, mentor reflection, email address, employer information, and company, client, or project details are not included in the sharing payload or shared URL. The URL may contain random share and share-instance identifiers plus a referral type so we can attribute visits without putting personal content in the link.
Email choices
Founding Beta activation does not subscribe you to marketing. Occasional product updates require a separate, optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. You can activate the entitlement without giving marketing consent.
Retention
Founding Beta membership records are retained through the entitlement period and for up to 12 months afterward so we can honour and audit access. Anonymous product analytics and referral records may be retained for up to 24 months. Challenge content is retained only as long as needed to operate and improve the beta, or until a valid deletion request is completed.
Services that process data
We use Lovable Cloud for application hosting, database services, and backend operations; AI model providers accessed through Lovable’s managed AI service to generate mentor responses; and LinkedIn or your device’s native sharing service only when you choose to open those sharing tools. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Your choices and contact
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data associated with your email, or withdraw optional marketing consent, by contacting privacy@engineeringgps.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it.
